Trying to find a good idea for his actual form ; i’m bad at designing stuff, because i get used way too quickly to the first sketch i do and end up keeping it.

They don’t have eyes because they don’t need them. I guess they can see from any cracks where the lava can be seen, even if in the end they choose that their uh main vision will come through the crack on their head. Also the two quick sketches in the bottom badly show how they would imitate some human(oid) expressions I guess. It’s a peaceful species who like to socialize with others (if they choose to see with their head, it’s because it will be less awkward for humans etc). And actually, you’ll almost never see this form outside of their lands (aside maybe some of them working in a foundry or something) because they tend to be half-humanoid for social, security and adaptation reasons, since they can be like…. 2 to 5 times the height of a human ? Yeah. I’m still thinking about all of this though so some aspects might change. Also i need a name for them

Oh and of course i had to think about the first time he and Keegan met and i have the whole scene in my head and idk what to do about it aaaaah

Some heads on the first image are dicksfordinner’s OCs, that you already saw here. For the rest just a bunch of ideas for LoWe and portraits from memory of the… main cast of IDLM. I should do something with that story. Maybe.

Sooo for those who don’t follow my main or any other blogs of mine, computer’s back, I got my diploma aaaand now I’m just waiting for an attestation of it. Of course my school being a great example how things work in this region i’m pretty sure i’ll have to wait one or two weeks before getting it.

And a little dump of…. things I did this month aside of quick lame studies. Obviously not quality but I don’t really care???
Still haven’t drawn a full body of Schwarz and the Laïon monks designs are boring because I didn’t bother doing some solid researches on what I want them to look based on their religion… thingy.

Also I’ll use this post as a yearly reminder that you can always ask me anything you want, etc. I’m certainly not the most social nor talktative on this tumblr basically because I want it to stay clean… though sometimes I feel like it wouldn’t hurt me to have a few posts of OC notes here and there on this tumblr, because it’s the most “serious” and less “spammy” I have, it would be the easiest way for me to find them easily. I know it’s my blog and I can post whatever the fuck I want on here but don’t hesitate to say if you’re interested about the tons of characters I have, I could focus a bit more on their story and all.

I think I’ll soon make a page with the most interesting tags. I don’t need it since I type them in the url but I guess some people might be happy to have that page.

Just ignore this little dump, I wanted to have them all at the same place. The first 3 were made for… rp sake and the last 3 are doodles of Wayra and some ideas for the Nayins. I really need to find a good design for these monsters

For the little story, at first I just thought that it would be cool that Muireadhach (Glenn’s grand father; you can see him there, even though he’s pretty horrible, I have to draw him again) would have a scar on his neck/back of his head. And then I wondered how and when he would have got it. And then I thought he would have been pretty awesome when he was younger. So I had to make him a good beard at least. And now I can’t choose.

Also, still wondering how I’ll explain how Glenn looks a lot like him but his son (Glenn’s father, Gain) not at all. (you can see the LoWe-native-and-male-side of the Shanley family here)
